Fire in Fall City ruled arson
FALL CITY, Wash. -- Fire investigators say an early Thursday morning blaze at an empty rental home was intentionally set.
Firefighters were called to the home in the 4300 block of 334th Pl. SE at 3:42 a.m. for a fire burning in a shed behind the home. Some 17 firefighters battled the fire and had it under control by about 4:20 a.m., fire officials said.
Investigators say there was no natural explanation for how the fire started. The residents had recently moved out, and there was no power to the shed where the fire began. And neighbors reported hearing loud voices before the fire started.
Officials don't have a firm estimate on amount of damage, but initial guesses are between $15,000 and $20,000.
No one was injured.
