Arlington family displaced after two-story house fire
ARLINGTON, Wash. - A family of four was displaced after their large two-story home was gutted by fire early Sunday in Arlington.
Firefighters were dispatched to the blaze, in the 20000 block of 67th Drive NE, just before 1 a.m.
They found flames erupting from the front porch, roof and interior of the structure as the fire swept rapidly through the home.
After the blaze was extinguished, crews remained on scene for several hours to continue to put out hot spots.
The Snohomish County Fire Marshall's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
Arlington Fire Department was supported by Arlington Rural Fire District 21, Silvana Fire District 19, Marysville Fire District and North County Fire.
No injuries were reported. The Red Cross is assisting the family displaced by the fire.
