4 injured as car crashes into Lopez Island store
LOPEZ ISLAND, Wash. -- Four people were injured when a car crashed into a store here Tuesday afternoon.

A witness told KOMO News a woman was parked outside the deli portion of the Village Market and went to put the car in reverse, but apparently put it in drive instead. He says when the woman realized she was going forward, she went to hit the brake, but hit the accelerator harder, sending the car crashing into the store.

San Juan County sheriff officials said all four people who were injured were treated at a local hospital and released.

The driver is a 67-year-old Seattle woman and investigators said there were no signs that she was intoxicated.
