Man found dead with apparent gunshot wounds at Milton home

MILTON, Wash. -- A man was found dead with gunshot wounds at a home on Tuesday afternoon.

Milton Police Chief William Rhoads said investigators responded to multiple 911 calls about a shooting at a home at approximately 4:30 p.m.

They arrived at the home at 12th and Taylor and found a man dead in the front lawn. The man, who was in his 40s, had apparent gunshot wounds, Rhoads said.

Police have taken a man into custody for questioning.

The victim and the man being questioned knew each other, Rhoads said, but the circumstances surrounding the shooting have not been determined.

The victim's name has not been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
