BELLEVUE, Wash. -- A 12-year-old boy was shot in the face by his older brother on Monday night.

The incident happened at the boys' home at the 12th Place Condos in the 16200 block of NE 12th Ct. at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Police said the boy and his 16-year-old brother were wrestling when the younger boy put the older one in a headlock. The older boy, apparently angered by the move, pulled out a gun and fired.

The older boy was being questioned by police detectives, but investigators said they were dealing with a language barrier.

Officials are trying to determine where they boy got the gun.
