SEABECK, Wash. - A 38-foot motor home was destroyed by fire Thursday morning near Seabeck in Kitsap County, but no one was injured, fire officials said.

Crews from Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue responded to the scene, in the 8800 block of Stavis Bay Road NW near Seabeck, at about 6:55 a.m. after receiving a 911 call from the owners.

The 1994 Coachman Destiny motor home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. The blaze was brought under control within nine minutes of firefighters' arrival, but the motor home was a complete loss.

Nobody was inside the motor home at the time of the fire. It was parked about 15 feet from the permanent residence on property, but did not spread to the structure.

The owners called 911 after seeing the fire from their window.

Fire officials say the fire is not considered suspicious, but the fire marshal is investigating since the cause is unknown. It is believed there was a propane tank inside the RV.
