Armed man shot to death by police in Poulsbo

POULSBO, Wash. -- Kitsap County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a Wednesday evening officer-involved shooting that left one man dead.
Poulsbo police first responded to a call of shots fired at a Les Schwab dealership in the 400 block of NW Edvard St. at around 6:30 p.m.
Officers arrived on scene to find an armed man in the parking lot, according to Kitsap County Sheriff's deputy Scott Wilson.
It's unclear what happened next, but three Poulsbo police officers eventually opened fire on the man, killing him.
Those three officers have been placed on paid administrative leave while the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office investigates the shooting.
The deceased man has not been identified, but Wilson said he appears to be in his 20s.
None of the officers involved in the incident were injured.
A Kitsap County deputy en route to the shooting was involved in a car crash on Hansville Road at Evening Star Lane near Kingston.
Wilson said the deputy was driving with his lights and sirens on when another driver pulled out in front of him. The deputy slammed into the other driver and both vehicles went off the road, taking down a power pole.
There were no injuries in the wreck.
The two-lane road has been blocked to traffic since 6:30 p.m., and there's no timetable for when it will reopen.
