SEATTLE -- A local woman may be scarred for life after her night out on the town ended in a violent confrontation.
Two women were attacked in the city's Belltown neighborhood around 1 a.m. Sunday morning. One of the women were beaten so badly that the scars on her face may never go away. The victim, who wished to remain anonymous out of fear of her attacker, said she walked out of a club and into the street, and accidentally caused a car to come to a sudden stop.
The woman said the passenger of the car then jumped out and came after her.
"He came at me so fast I didn't have time to put my hands up or duck or anything," said "Jane Doe."
He threw one punch, crushing Jane's eye socket, shattering her cheek bone and breaking her jaw.
A girlfriend tried to step in, but Jane says the man turned around and punched her twice breaking her friend's nose.
Jane doesn't want to run into her attacker ever again, but she wants her attacker to see the damage he caused.
"I want him to see what he did to me," she said. "My teeth are missed or knocked out, so I have to get braces."
Even though the incident happened toward the end of Jane's night, she says it was not a drunken fight.
"And I just don't know why you would do that to somebody," she said.
All Jane remembers about her attacker is that he was riding in a maroon car with two other people at the time. Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact the Seattle Police Department.
