2 killed in crash near Tacoma
TACOMA, Wash. -- Two men were fatally injured in a crash near Tacoma during the Monday evening commute.
Two cars collided in the northbound lanes of State Route 167 at 31st Avenue at approximately 4:45 p.m.
Both drivers, a 28-year-old man and a 30-year-old man, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Washington State Patrol officials say one of the cars was traveling southbound and crossed over the center turn lane. The car drifted into the northbound lane and slammed into another car.
No other information was immediately available, and the investigation is ongoing.
