VANCOUVER, Wash. - Two people were stabbed outside a Starbucks in Vancouver on Monday.
The stabbing happened at about 5 p.m. in the parking lot of the store's drive-thru. One man suffered serious injuries. The other man's injuries were minor.
Police said two men got into an argument and one man pulled out a knife and stabbed the other man in the stomach. Another person was also stabbed.
There were about 40 witnesses who saw what happened and many rushed to aid the victims.
Alyssa Case said while she was getting out of her car she saw several men come out of the Starbucks and catch the man who was holding a knife. They then helped the victims.
"Someone gave up their sweatshirt and put it around the wounds," Case said. "One woman was holding it down, holding pressure, trying to stop the bleeding - just trying to do whatever we could to help him as best as we could."
Police identified the stabbing suspect as Scott C. Fandrick. He was arrested on first-degree assault charges.
The man who was stabbed remains in the hospital.
This guy got stabbed in the stomach, this is not nearly as bad when Howard stabbed all the Sonic fans in the back years ago.
Well at least for once, an argument didn't involved guns.
Will be checking for a story on our governor and legislature commissioning a study on how the state might regulate caffeine. Â
I'd pledge to ban the word "BAN", but somebody would inevitibly ruin the party anyway, so..
Carry on.
@Throbbinhood Come on man! We need to BAN something.
We need background checks for posters who make inane comments about background checks. We also need to ban posters who comment about banning anything that could be used as a weapon. We also need background checks and eventual bans for posts that deal with irony.
We need background checks and waiting periods for knife purchases. We also need to ban "assault knives."
@NW-Economist What is an "assault" knife anyways?!  No one "needs" an assault anything!
@NW-Economist Because we've had too many mass knifings lately. Oh, wait.
INB4 need to ban knifes.......or coffee.
@Hachee_Bungwhy I wonder what was in their cup's of coffee? (jeepers)
