2 teens arrested in Seattle light rail assault

SEATTLE (AP) - A King County sheriff's spokeswoman says sheriff's detectives working for Sound Transit Police have arrested two of five teens suspected in a recent assault that left a light rail train rider with a broken jaw.

Sgt. Cindi West said Friday that detectives looked at surveillance footage of the March 20 incident and arrested two boys, ages 15 and 16. Both were booked into juvenile detention for investigation of felony assault.

West says the male victim was repeatedly punched and kicked by the five attackers when he tried to calm the group after they harassed another passenger.

Detectives are still looking for three other teens.
