22 show horses rescued after barn catches fire

BLACK DIAMOND, Wash. - Twenty-two show horses were rescued after a fire broke out in a barn on Green Valley Road early Saturday.

Fire crews quickly extinguished the flames, and transported one horse to an emergency vet for treatment of burns to the nose.

A local vet was on scene checking the remaining horses. One horse received oxygen and fluids by Mountain View firefighters.

Officials have ruled the fire as accidental, with damages to the barn and nearby equipment at approximately $200,000.
