MONROE, Wash. -- Two people were killed when a motorcycle crashed into a car on Monday night, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Trooper Keith Leary said a man riding a motorcycle was headed south on State Route 203 when he crashed into a Pontiac Grand Am that was merging onto 203 from Tualco Road around 8:27 p.m. The impact of the crash caused the Grand Am to flip over. The driver of the motorcycle as well as the driver of the Grand Am were killed. Their names are not known. A man who was riding in the Grand Am was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. Investigators have not determined a cause of the accident, but witnesses said the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the collision.
