2 dead, 3 injured in rollover crash near Cle Elum
CLE ELUM, Wash. (AP) - Two people were killed and three injured in a crash on Highway 10, about four miles east of Cle Elum.
The State Patrol says the car drifted off the road Wednesday night, hit an embankment and caught fire.
The dead are Cle Elum residents, the 63-year-old driver, Wayne Free, and a 86-year-old passenger, Alice Young.
Three other passengers were flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with internal, head, neck and back injuries. They are all from Brewster, 58-year-old Jackie Knowlton, 10-year-old Austin Knowlton and 8-year-old Justin Knowlton.
