SKAGIT COUNTY, Wash. -- A 2.4-magnitude earthquake hit the area early Thursday evening, according to the University of Washington Department of Earth and Space Sciences.

The epicenter of the tremor hit 2 miles southeast of Bay View 5 miles west of Burlington.

There are no reports of injuries.
