SEATTLE -- A four-car crash sent ten people, eight of whom are children, to the hospital late Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened at Martin Luther King Way South and South Graham Street around 5:36 p.m. The circumstances surrounding the crash are not known, but fire officials said a van carrying a mother and six children were involved.

Ten were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries. Nine were taken to Harborview Medical Center and one was taken to Virginia Mason Medical Center by request.
