One winner in $9.7 million Lotto drawing
OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - One winning ticket was sold for a $9.7 million Washington state Lotto drawing Saturday night.
The lucky ticket, with winning numbers of 01-08-21-30-36-39, was sold at the 7-Eleven at 1232 N 185th St. in Shoreline. The store will receive a retail selling bonus of $97,000.
The Lotto winner has not yet come forward to claim his or her prize.
The ticket is the second lucky Lotto ticket in just over a year sold in Shoreline. Last August, a Shoreline man won $9 million with a Lotto ticket sold at a Fred Meyer in Shoreline. Fred Meyer Corp. distributed its retail selling bonus to many Shoreline area charities.
As a result of Saturday night's drawing, the Lotto jackpot reverts to $1 million for the next drawing on Monday.
Washington’s Lottery offers consumers several types of games: Mega Millions, Lotto, Hit 5, The Daily Game, Daily Keno, and Scratch.
There was no big winner in Hit 5, so the top payout grows to $270,000 from $230,000.
In Lotto, 23 tickets were sold with five of the six winning numbers and are worth $1,000 each. Another 1,223 had four winning numbers and are worth $30 each. Sales were $651,428 and the winning numbers were 1, 8, 21, 30, 36 and 39.
In Hit 5, 66 tickets were sold with four of the five winning numbers and are worth $100 each, and 2,291 had three winning numbers and are worth $10 each. Sales were $236,012 and the winning numbers were 5, 19, 25, 27 and 30.
