WENATCHEE, Wash. (AP) - An autopsy has confirmed that a former San Diego woman shot her daughter to death at their home in Cashmere and then committed suicide.

Chelan County sheriff's Lt. Jerry Moore released the findings Tuesday in the death of 58-year-old Kathy Minardi and 20-year-old Danielle Minardi.

Their bodies were found last Thursday by the women's husband and father, John Minardi.

Moore says investigators found no indication of recent disputes within the family, nor were there reports of domestic violence. However, Kathy Minardi spent five days at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee in April after taking pills in a suicide attempt.

The family moved to Cashmere about 1½ years ago. John Minardi previously was a San Diego County sheriff's sergeant.
