Body pushed from car in Seattle
SEATTLE -- Homicide detectives have been called to a South Seattle intersection where a body was pushed out of a car Thursday morning.
Police spokeswoman Renee Witt said the dead man's body was dumped near the intersection of 9th Avenue South and South Dakota Street about 7:30 a.m.
Steve Wyder was working at the nearby Trade-Marx offices and called 911 when he saw the man pushed from the car.
"I saw a black moving vehicle leave that scene, then I saw a body on the ground," he said. "That's more than I needed to see."
Police said man, whose name has not been released, was dead at the scene. He is believed to be about 61 years old.
An official cause of death has not been determined, but investigators said the man's body did not exhibit any obvious signs of trauma.
Miquel Saucedo, who works nearby, said it appeared the man had intravenous tubes in his body.
"Shocking, shocking. I've never seen anything like that over there," he said.
Police are looking for the car, a 2005 Kia Rio, Washington license 549-UXG.
