West Seattle teen injured after being struck by car
SEATTLE -- A teen girl was injured Thursday afternoon when she was struck by a car in the West Seattle neighborhood.

Seattle police say it was around 2:45 when the high school student was in an unmarked crosswalk, crossing 35th Avenue SW at SW Juneau Street. One car stopped, but another did not and struck her.

The girl was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, but her condition is not known.

The northbound lanes of 35th Avenue were closed for a while for the investigation.

The girl's identity has not been released.
