Two seriously hurt in Burien shooting

BURIEN, Wash. -- Two men were rushed to the hospital after being shot in a parking lot on Thursday night.
King County Sgt. John Urquhart said three men were standing in the parking lot of Forest View Apartments at SW 122nd Street and Ambaum Boulevard SW when a car drove by, spraying bullets out the window before speeding off around 8:40 p.m. One of the men managed to duck, but the other two were hit before they could react. They were taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. The victims' names and condition are not known. Urquhart said the gunman remains on the loose. It is not known whether the gunman knew the victims. A description was not available. Investigators are looking into the motive. |
