Found pit bull pup raises concerns of dog fighting
By KOMO Staff
LAKE STEVENS, Wash. -- A dog found tied up and abandoned has sparked concerns about dog fighting.
Late Tuesday night police released pictures of the pit bull puppy found in the parking lot of Frontier Village Shopping Center. "There were no vehicles around; it was just left," said police spokesperson Cindy Brooks. The dog, tied to a pole with climbing rope only 5 feet long without any food or water, had a fresh cut across his left ear and scars on his body. "Looked like dried blood," said Brooks. The dog is receiving medical care. The black and white pit bull was wearing a multi-colored nylon collar with a sheep on it. Anyone with information on the dog or the case is urged to contact police. |
