3 overdue hikers found safe
GRANITE FALLS, Wash. -- Search and rescue teams have located three women who were overdue from a weekend hike near Granite Falls.
All three were safe and hiking back to their car.
Snohomish County Sheriff's deputies were called Monday morning by a friend of the group saying the three were missing near the 58400 block of Mountain Loop Highway. A car belonging to one of the hikers was found near the Goat Lake Trailhead, just north of Barlow.
Deputies said the three women were experienced hikers and were well equipped for their hike.
