4 injured as wall collapses on construction site

ISSAQUAH, Wash. -- Four people were hurt when a wall collapsed on a housing construction site in Issaquah Friday afternoon.
Medics were called to the scene in the 900 block of 3rd Court NE just before 1:30 p.m.
One person sustained serious injuries and was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Another was taken to Overlake Hospital in Bellevue. Two others had minor injuries and were treated at Swedish Hospital.
There is no word yet on what caused the wall to collapse.

Looks like they were stripping the foundation walls of the froms. I do not see any "collapsed" walls. It looks like they "lost" control of the form boards. Standard form boards are 2' by 8' and 1 and 1/8 inch thick and weigh about 75 pounds each. If they "pop" loose when you are stripping them they can knock all the forms loose on an entire wall at once. That is very bad and would lead to a very strong chance of someone being injured.

 @bustedupredneck the strip crew was asked by the framers next door to help them raise a 18' framing wall. The wall was too heavy and fell breaking ones back. This had nothing to do with the foundation panels.
