3 killed in collision near Chelan
CHELAN, Wash. (AP) - The Washington State Patrol says three people were killed in a collision Tuesday night near Chelan on Highway 97A.
The patrol says one car crossed the centerline and hit the second car.
The dead include a 38-year-old Chelan woman, Angelica Medina-Aguilar, and a 4-year-old boy, Guadalupe Medina-Aguilar. The name of the third victim has not yet been released.
A 39-year-old Chelan woman was injured and taken to a hospital in Chelan.

@Big Don Given the number of people I see texting I would tend to agree with you. Absolutely out of control. Here's a law that needs enforcing.
@Big Don Maybe the driver dozed off. Or turned around to address a child in the backseat. Or had a medical problem. There's not enough info available in this short little article to accuse them of careless disregard such as texting.
