SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. -- The man who was rushed to the hospital after a crash involving two cars and two motorcycles last week has died.

Shawn R. Tygret, 34, died at Harborview Medical Center on Tuesday morning.

Tygret of Concrete was traveling east on Highway 20 in a Buick sedan on Oct. 1 when an oncoming Toyota pickup crossed the center line and rammed into him. The pickup went on to hit two motorcyclists before crashing into a ditch.

One of the motorcyclists, Anthony M. Burwell, 21, of Burlington, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. The driver of the pickup is under investigation for vehicular homicide.
