Man killed in Wenatchee shooting; another wounded
WENATCHEE, Wash. (AP) - One man was killed and another critically wounded in what Wenatchee police believe was a gang-related shooting.

Police were looking for the shooter, identified as a 21-year-old East Wenatchee man.

The Wenatchee World reports that officers responded to a call of shots fired at a home at about 12:45 a.m. Sunday.

Sgt. Kevin Dresker says that at about the same time, an East Wenatchee police officer passed a fast-moving vehicle. The officer followed it to Central Washington Hospital and found the dead victim inside.

The wounded man was taken by friends to a house near the shooting site, and then to the hospital, where he underwent surgery.

Police say the shooting occurred after members of one gang showed up at a party a rival gang was having, and a large fight broke out.
