Get your Halloween scare aboard a Navy destroyer
This journey is only for the bravest souls, and takes place aboard an historic ship docked along the Bremerton waterfront.
The USS Turner Joy is a Navy destroyer from the Vietnam era, and now through Halloween it has been turned into a haunted ship.
"We'll have everything from pirates, to vampires, to dead bodies," says creator Desiree Steffen. "There will be lots of mayhem."
That mayhem is for a good cause. Proceeds from the haunted ship tours will be used to refurbish the Turner Joy, which is currently serving as a floating museum.
This scare isn't for everybody; Kids under 8 will not be admitted. The ship will be dark, with only the red emergency lighting to guide the way.
"It can scare the pants of people," Steffen said. "We've actually had a few people that have missed the bathroom."
