TACOMA - A man in his mid-20s robbed a downtown Tacoma bank Friday morning, and detectives hope his distinctive hair style will help catch him.
The robber entered the Columbia Bank in the 600 block of North First Street in Tacoma at about 9:20 a.m. The man entered the bank, asked for a deposit slip and then gave the teller a note demanding cash. The suspect took the money and ran north. The suspect is described as a white male, about 25 years old, standing 5-feet-7-inches and weighing about 170 pounds, with curly auburn afro-style hair and had a slight goatee. During the robbery he wore a brown hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants, and was seen carrying a small black briefcase. A reward of up to $1,000 has been offered for information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person in this case. To provide information, call 253-591-5959. All callers will remain anonymous. |
