SEATTLE (AP) - The U.S. attorney's office in Seattle says a man who cut off an ankle bracelet and fled was arrested in Las Vegas.

The 47-year-old former Vancouver man, Paul Eric Presley, was caught Tuesday night by officers in a fugitive task force.

He may now be charged with failure to appear in court. Federal prosecutors say that could add up to 10 years to the 6-year sentence Presley is facing for possessing child pornography.

He had been free on bond with GPS monitoring Nov. 15 when he fled a residence in Portland.
