Search on for 4 armed robbers behind 4 robberies
By Joel Moreno & KOMO StaffSEATTLE -- Police are on the lookout for four men believed to be behind a string of store robberies in West Seattle, White Center and Tukwila. A store camera caught the robbers enter with their faces and heads covered up. One robber then walks around the counter and empties the till while the other points a sawed-off shotgun at the work. The clerk is seen with his hands up, putting up no resistance. The robbers are in and out in seconds but for the clerk, the terror lingered much longer. Myong Yi can relate. Four masked robbers burst in on him to grab money and beer. He, too, was held at gunpoint. "I don't have nothing. I don't have no choice," he said. "(I told them) 'take money is OK. Don't shoot me."' One of the clerks confronted the men when they barged into his store. "I saw that they have gun and saw the gun, but it looks like fake so I just tell them to get the hell out of my store," said Moon Lee. The man chased them out with a bat -- an approach police do not recommend. But having had their security shaken, the store owners are resorting to more lethal measure. One even bought a gun. No one has been hurt during the robberies, but detectives said the robbers appear to be young and extremely aggressive. They said it would only take a small trigger to escalate the situation. Clerks said they don't want trouble; they're just trying to make a living. "If they want to get money, I wish they would just get job," said one clerk. Anyone with information on any of the cases is urged to contact police.
