Witness in drug prosecution killedBy Associated Press
LONGVIEW, Wash. (AP) - A man found dead in a Longview park was expected to testify for the prosecution in a drug trial.
Police say the defendant is a person of interest in the slaying of 26-year-old Jeremy McLean of Longview. His body was found Wednesday in Willow Grove park, along the Columbia River. A police spokeswoman, Sgt. Joe Reiss, told The Longview Daily News McLean was expected to testify against 51-year-old William Vance Reagan of Longview. Reagan and his girlfriend, 47-year-old Victoria Louise Gatti of Longview, were arrested Saturday in a Portland motel room where police also found hair dye, fake IDs, new cell phones and thousands in cash. Reagan and Gatti are scheduled for trial this month on drug charges in Cowlitz County Superior Court. |
