BEAVERTON, Ore. - A woman and her young daughter are home safe after the two were reported missing early Friday morning.

Maureen Regan, 40, took off with her 6-year-old daughter, Zoe, following an argument with her parents.

According to police, Regan was intoxicated and made statements of self harm before leaving on foot.

The pair turned up around noon on Friday and were returned home safe and sound.

According to police, the Department of Human Services will be following up on the incident.

Meanwhile, the child has been left in her mother's custody and police said it does not appear that there will be criminal charges filed at this time.
