4 boats damaged in Anacortes marina fire
ANACORTES, Wash. -- Three power boats and a sailboat were damaged in a Tuesday night fire at the Anacortes Marina, said Anacortes Fire Chief Richard Curtis.
The fire broke out on the E-dock just after 9 p.m. Over a dozen firefighters arrived and had the fire contained within 20 minutes, Curtis said.
No one was hurt.
Two of the damaged boats sank and were expected to be raised Wednesday. Investigators will then look into what started the fire.
