4 injured in multi-vehicle crash on I-5 near Alderwood Manor
ALDERWOOD MANOR, Wash. - Four people were injured, including a 2-year-old girl, in a multi-vehicle crash late Sunday on Interstate 5 near Alderwood, the Washington State Patrol reports.

Alcohol or drugs were believed to be a factor in the crash.

Troopers said the southbound ramp from I-5 to I-405 was closed due to a previous collision at about 10:15 p.m., and traffic was stopped, when a 2001 Ford Focus driven by a 32-year-old Kenmore man failed to slow down.

The Focus slammed into a Suzuki Sidekick that was stopped for the previous collision, which was pushed off to the right into a 2010 Mazda.

Meanwhile, the Focus kept going, crashing into a 2010 Mercedes SUV and a 2005 Acura before coming to a stop.

The driver of the Focus was injured, as well as the driver of ther Suzuki, a 55-year-old Bellevue man, and his two passengers, a 65-year-old Bellevue man and the 2-year-old girl.

The crash remains under investigation.
