Seattle's ZymoGenetics cuts 1/3 of workforce
SEATTLE (AP) - The Seattle biotech ZymoGenetics says it's cutting 161 employees as part of a corporate restructuring.
The reductions announced Wednesday amount to 32 percent of the work force. They're aimed at bringing spending into line with corporate priorities and resources.
ZymoGenetics develops drugs to treat cancer, autoimmune and viral diseases.
