Motorcyclist dies in Centralia crash
CENTRALIA, Wash. - A 31-year-old motorcyclist has died from injuries sustained after colliding with a passenger car on Thursday, police said.

Officers said the car and motorcycle crashed at about 3 p.m. Thursday near Alder Street and West Cherry Street in Centralia.

The motorcyclist was severely injured in the collision and was airlifted by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He later died of his injuries at Harborview.

The case is under investigation by the Centralia Police department with assistance from the Washington State Patrol.

At this time there is no indication that drugs or alcohol were involved.
