2 men stabbed in chest in Seattle
SEATTLE -- Police are investigating whether the same man is responsible for stabbings in Seattle that left two men hospitalized.
Spokeswoman Renee Witt said one man was stabbed about 2:39 a.m. Wednesday in the Eastlake neighborhood.
He pounded on an apartment window in the 1800 block of Eastlake Avenue to ask for help and was taken to Harborview Medical Center with a life-threatening chest wound.
Another man was found stabbed in the chest about 30 minutes later at 1814 Minor Avenue. He was also taken to Harborview, but his condition was not known.
Investigators believe the victims were involved in a fight with two other men earlier in the morning, but details about the altercation were not available.
Police are still searching for the attacker.
