EVERETT, Wash. -- A bear was seen lurking around the neighborhood for the second night in a row on Thursday.

Police said the black bear was seen walking along Madison near Interstate 5 around 8:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, neighbors reported having seen a black bear lurking around a gas station at Beverly and Broadway.

Officers combed the area with the help of canine units, but did not find the bear.
