Teen stabbed in dispute over boyBy KOMO Staff
BONNEY LAKE, Wash. -- A 15-year-old girl has been booked into jail for allegedly stabbing another teen in a fight over a boy.
Bonney Lake police spokesman Daron Wolschleger said officers were called to the scene of the attack in 5300 Block of South Island Drive about 10:25 p.m. on Saturday. Police found a 13-year-old girl who had been stabbed several times. The girl and several witnesses identified a 15-year-old girl as the one responsible. The girl who was stabbed was taken to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma and was expected to recover. "It sounds like there was a dispute between the two girls that essentially revolved around a boy," Wolschleger said. The 15-year-old girl suspected in the attack was booked into the Remann Hall Juvenile Detention Facility for investigation of first-degree assault. |
