Bicyclist killed in Hwy 99 crash in Seattle
SEATTLE -- A bicyclist was killed in an accident on Highway 99 on Wednesday night.

Seattle Fire spokesperson Helen Fitzpatrick said a Porsche and a bike collided near the Dexter Avenue exit in the southbound lanes around 10:18 p.m.

The bicyclist was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the Porsche was taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

Police believe the driver may have been impaired at the time of the accident. The person has been placed under police custody, and the investigation is ongoing.

The Dexter Avenue off-ramp was closed for some time following the crash.
