Bicyclist killed in Hwy 99 crash identified
SEATTLE -- The bicyclist who was killed in a crash on Highway 99 on Wednesday night has been identified.
The King County Medical Examiner's Office said John U. Leoni, 35, of Seattle died of a blunt force trauma to the entire body.
Leoni died after colliding with a car in the southbound lanes near the Dexter Avenue exit around 10:15 p.m.
Police believe the driver of the car may have been impaired at the time of the accident. The person has been placed under police custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
