Motorcyclist killed in crash near Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE, Wash. -- A motorcyclist died after crashing into a car on State Route 262 late Friday afternoon.

State troopers said the motorcyclist was headed east on the roadway when he crossed the center line and hit an oncoming car approximately 8 miles west of Warden around 5:25.

The motorcyclist, 61-year-old Dionisio Arriola of Moses Lake, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, a 16-year-old Moses Lake boy, was treated at the scene for cuts.

The cause of the crash has not been determined, and the investigation is ongoing.
