Man shot in Seattle motel room
SEATTLE -- Police are looking for whoever shot a man inside a motel room late Thursday.

Investigators said a woman called 911 about 11:15 p.m. to report that a man in her room had been shot.

When officers arrived at the La Hacienda Motel on 1st Avenue South they found a man inside who had been shot in the shoulder and leg.

He was taken to Harborview Medical Center and was expected to survive.

Officers used a police dog and helicopter to search for the shooter, but were not able to find him.

It was not clear what prompted the shooting.
