Motor home crashes down 100-foot slope
OTTER ROCK, Ore. -- It may have been the perfect time to take his dog for a walk.

Deputies in Lincoln County, Oregon say a man stepped out of his motor home Sunday afternoon to let his dog stretch its legs when the vehicle's brakes failed, sending the 36-foot motor home crashing down a 100-foot slope.

The 79-year-old man was not injured, but the motor home was stuck down on a rocky beach at the bottom of the slope off Otter Crest Loop near the intersection with Highway 101.

A heavy-duty tow truck was called to pull the motor home back up to the road.
