The teenage driver lost control and plowed into the pedestrians and bicycle group about 2:40 p.m. on Lopez Sound Road.

A 26-year-old jogger from Abbotsford, British Columbia died at the scene.

The two boys who were in the car were not wearing seat belts and, the boy who was in the passenger seat was also airlifted to Harborview.
