KITTITAS, Wash. -- An Amber Alert that was issued following the disappearance of two boys has been canceled.

Nevada state troopers said Preston and Parker Norris, ages 3 and 2, were found safe in Winnemucca, Nevada on Tuesday night.

The boys' mother, 27-year-old Nichole Butcher, was found with the boys and is said to be safe as well.

The alert was issued when the boys vanished on Tuesday. Investigators believed their mother had taken them. Butcher does not have legal custody of the boys, and was feared to be suicidal.

Investigators said Butcher was not placed under arrest because the situation has more domestic implications than criminal ones.

No other information was immediately available.
