WINLOCK, Wash. (AP) - A coin flip is ending Cy Meyers' run as mayor of Winlock.

The results of the Aug. 18 top-two primary showed Glen Cook as the highest vote winner with Meyers' tied with Don Bradshaw for the second spot. Each had 49 votes.

Lewis County Auditor Gary Zandell conducted a had re-count Wednesday and confirmed the tie.

KITI reports a coin flip is the tie-breaker but neither Bradshaw nor Meyers was present. So, the auditor drew a name out of a hat for "tails."

Zandell drew Meyers' name. The coin flip came up "heads."

Bradshaw and Cook face off in the November election.
