PORTLAND, Ore. - A 17-year-old male was shot in the leg after an Ipod was stolen at a sweet-16 party.

Police say a female had her Ipod stolen at the party and ordered everyone in the house to be searched. The victim apparently refused and left the house.

Officials say a group of males then followed and confronted him, shooting the victim at least twice in the hand and leg.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Gang Violence Response Team is investigating.
