MOSES LAKE, Wash. (AP) - Moses Lake is mentioned in a report released this week by Gov. Chris Gregoire's office in an effort to persuade the Boeing Co. to build a second assembly line in Washington state for its long-delayed 787 jetliner.

In the report, Gregoire details what she calls the business case for building a second 787 line in Washington.

In a section about Moses Lake, the report says that Port of Moses Lake land offers "access to five separate runways, with a main runway of 13,500 feet in length and 200 feet in width." The report examined considerations such as an attractive business climate, low production risk, quality work force and improving labor relations, stable government, providing infrastructure improvements, commitment to education, strong, broad-based support and quality of life.

The Columbia Basin Herald says a report released earlier this year, done by Deloitte Consulting, also referenced Moses Lake as a contender for a second Boeing site.

Everett was chosen for the initial 787 assembly site.
